Enjoy a youth-led city tour held by at-risk youth. This is a unique way for travellers to observe Delhi from a new perspective and learn about the important work of local nonprofit Salaam Baalak Trust. Visit the famous Jama Masjid (Great Mosque), walk through Chandni Chowk, one of Indias oldest and busiest markets, and explore the history of the Sikh religion at the important Sikh Gurduwara SisGanj. Wander through the colorful spice market before visiting Connaught Place. Later explore on your own, opting to visit the markets and shops, the Gandhi museum, India Gate, or stroll through the peaceful Lodi Gardens. In the evening, head to the train station for an overnight train to Jodphur. Arrive early at Jodhpur, the second largest city in Rajasthan. Jodhpur is sometimes called the "Blue City" for the vast number of houses here that are painted blue. Take a short climb to the top of a hill on the outskirts of the city to reach the Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India. Wander around the Old City, with its clock tower and Sadar Bazaar, one of the oldest markets in India. Opt to head further afield and visit a Bishnoi tribal village. Stop and take a photo opportunity at Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds) before continuing on to the Amber Fort. With free time, opt to head out to the nearby village of Sanganer to see blue pottery, handmade paper, or more hand block printing being done.
